*RMC13006 - 11/30/2007 - The ROPES Utility Driver program now permits
*                        comments in the input stream.

*Problem Summary:
*    There was no way to put comments into the batch utility driver
*    input stream.
*
*Symptoms:
*    Only valid commands would be accepted.  Comments of any kind were
*    undefined and would generate a level 8 error.
*
*Documentation Change:
*    You can now include comments in the control card stream by starting
*    the statement with an asterisk ("*") in column 1.  The entire card
*    image is treated as comment and will be echoed in the CARDIN list
*    and then ignored.
*
*Permanent Fix:
*    This problem will be corrected by PTF in the next release of
*    ROPES.
